Vikings were known for their pillaging and stealing. They used their stealth longships to sneak up on unsuspecting monasteries and cities.

TASK:
You are a hard hitting journalist tasked with interviewing a viking. You will need to "prepare" a series of questions you would like to ask this viking. Your interviewee can be a generic viking or a specific viking (example - Erik the Red). Once you have a list of questions, you will research your "answers" and compile them into a document to submit or you can film an interview with a classmate posing as your interviewee (viking beards and helmets are a must!). You will also need to give some background on your interviewee. You must tell me who they are, where they came from, when they lived, and what they did. If you have chosen to interview a generic viking you will need to make this up (be creative!) The topics you need to hit on with your interview are: - technological inventions - exploration - war/pillaging - settlements - everyday life - global influence Feel free to expand past these topics to include other areas of your own personal interest or things you are curious about in regards to Vikings. |
